The story of us
Having discovered our passion for craft beer when we lived in Vancouver, we were delighted to return home to a growing and vibrant community back here in the UK. During our time in Swansea we set up Two Drifters Brewery and started brewing in our annexe after work. After many (many!) experimental (undrinkable!) batches we finally got the hang of it and started making decent beer! We decided to take our beers public and were overwhelmed by the response, we could not keep up with demand. So, after one too many beers, we decided to quit the day jobs and make Two Drifters Brewery a bigger, better reality.
Our beers have a definite West Coast vibe to them, emphasising a clean, fresh, thirst-quenching beer that is affordable and enjoyed by all!
Russ is an organic chemist and has spent many years researching carbon capture techniques, it is a topic very close to our hearts and we plan on staying true to it with our brewery too, by striving for a carbon negative approach in everything we do.
We are both from Exeter and loving being home. We’re just finishing the final touches on our brewery and distillery, up near Exeter Airport and we hope to be making beautiful, carbon negative, beer and rum in April 2019.
